PSIpenta Version 9 based on PSI Java framework for system constructor

Berlin, 13 December 2018 – PSI Automotive & Industry GmbH has been contracted by Simtec Systems GmbH with the implementation of the PSIpenta Version 9 ERP system. The modules Project Structures, Order Management, Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and PSIfinance will be applied.

In the construction of simulation plants with expanding parts lists as well as with classical project controlling, the project view accompanying the production process has a very high priority at Simtec. The standard module Project Structures enable both the production and the costs to be mapped in the current project. The solution offered by the PSIpenta ERP system already offers a broad and practice-proven scope of services for sales, production and finances as a standard.

Simtec decided for the PSIpenta ERP system in particular because of the high number of functions covered as well as the decades of expertise PSI has in the field of system construction. By means of PSI Click Design, the Version 9 software solution based on the PSI Java framework offers intuitive adaptation of user interfaces to the individual requirements.

Simtec Systems GmbH, headquartered in Braunschweig, Germany, is a manufacturer of custom simulator systems for the entertainment sector, for applications in flight and driving simulation, for digital signage systems and also offers systems for testing automotive or other vehicle components.

With the order from Simtec, PSI Automotive & Industry has gained another important customer in the ERP market in the field of systems construction.

Based on its own software products, the PSI Group develops and integrates complete solutions for optimizing the flow of energy and materials for utilities (energy networks, energy trading, public transport) and industry (mining, metals production, automotive, mechanical engineering, logistics). PSI was founded in 1969 and employs more than 1,750 persons worldwide.
