Building on the functions of the basic module, PSIroads/OM offers additional functions for traffic and incident management and maintenance in traffic telematics. In planning and resource management, planned maintenance contracts are automatically generated according to manufacturer specifications and internal regulations and the execution is coordinated accordingly between the road operator and internal and external service providers.
The task-based time recording system directly records the working times and allowances of each service provider for each ticket as well as the maintenance work performed by the service technican on site. This shortens documentation times and enables cause-related reporting and invoicing of services.
PSIroads/OM also has mobile solutions. This enables service technicians to record and document their activities on site. The recorded data is synchronized with the head office, eliminating unnecessary travel times.
In the service manuals all maintenance related activities to be performed for each equipment or type of equipment are defined. Each action has a cycle time and checklists to document the process.
Based on the defined service manuals maintenance orders can be generated for all equipment. The maintenance orders are assigned to the service provider automatically according to their responsibilities.
Maintenance orders are scheduled and monitored annually and weekly on dispatching boards. In addition to the automatic generation and assignment of orders, maintenance orders can also be created and dispatched manually. Gantt diagrams, functions for determining responsibility and audits of resource shortages support the user.
The performance of maintenance orders is checked automatically and the equipment availability is determined. This is the basis for strategic maintenance scheduling. Equipment specific problems can be identified quickly and adressed by appropriate maintenance strategies.
The correct performance of maintenance and repair services requires the availabilty of material that is either in stock or can be requested via specific purchasing systems connected by interfaces. PSIroads/OM manages warehouses and inventories. Material needed for performing of fault clearance services or maintenance measures are taken from the warehouse and inventory is updated automatically.
Faults are acquired automatically by messge from monitored telematic infrastructure or can be entered manually. Depending on the type of faults, fault clearance orders are created and assigned to the service provider. The status of fault clearing is monitored. Repairs completed later than the contractually agreed restoration time can be penalized.
The operation states of monitored telematic infrastructure (such as accessibility, error counters, work load) are monitored constantly. Deviations from the normal states are logged and forwarded to fault management according to their severity.
PSIroads/OM supports a form based hotline by parameterizable interviews. In interviews provide guided questions for isolating the problem, and logging of the answer. Depending on the answers context related follow-up questions are offered to the user so recurring problems can be answered simply and effectively.
